Rating out of 5: 2.5

Reasons:

This is very hard to decide on, the Silverfjord Hotel lies just across the street from the train station and only a short walk from the town centre wit its cafes, restaurants and walking routes, it is also very conveniently located on road to Ruthven Barracks which makes it easy to reach those on foot or by car.

Having its own bar, offering meals as well the hotel offers all amenities without having to go far. My problem with the hotel was not that big, I unfortunately had a spider in my room, which due to aragnaphobia was a problem for me, getting very paranoid. However, the room itself was clean and nice, while the bathroom I have to say definitely needs refurbishing, maybe it is only the room I was in but there were slightly loose floor tiles, and the radiator needs exchanging as well.

The rest was kinda fine although the service before booking wasn’t that fine, I did request information and my email wasn’t responded to, to this day. It was a comfortable hotel, and it served the purpose of having a warm shower and a bed after spending the day out walking and exploring the region.
