Scotland – The country of Bagpipes, Kilts and Whisky and maybe even Outlander.
But that’s not what Scotland is, at least not all that Scotland is.
Scotland is a country of wild rough nature and astonoshing beauty , rich on history, friendly people, mountains, glens, lochs, clans, flora and fauna.
Come with me on a journey exploring this special place, valueing its unique atmosphere, getting to know its inhabitants and unique history.
Scotland, a country like no other, seen from the eyes of a non native whose heart is
longing for the smallest breeze of scottish air.
Starting this journey throughout Scotland with you I will start by presenting you different places I have been to. I will beginn with a few cities (sights there and a few historical facts) which I explored and enjoyed during my year as AuPair in Scotland.
First one on the list will be Stirling since I spend most time close there, Edinburgh, parts of Glasgow and places like Inverness and Pitlochry will follow.
Due to the current situation I won’t be able to travel for a while which makes me rely on pictures I took on previous visits and sadly also limits the places I will tell you about.
I hope that you will enjoy reading further blogposts and get inspired to plan a visit in this beatiful country yourself.
