Come with me on a journey exploring this special place, valueing its unique atmosphere, getting to know its inhabitants and unique history. Scotland, a country like no other, seen from the eyes of a non native, feeling home there.

Moxy Edinburgh Airport

Rating out of 5: 5

Reasons:

The Moxy Hotel at Edinburgh Airport is a very nice place to spend your time, with the bar at night and a variety of food it offers some evening entertainment. If travelling alone or a bigger group there is a long table in the bar/restaurant area which makes it easy to get into conversations with other travellers and creates an open atmosphere.

The personal was friendly throughout the whole stay and tried to manage as good as possible if there were lots of people needing something at the same time.

The room was spacious and clean offering all the advertised amenities and a modern bathroom. With it being within a short walking distance from the Airport and just next to a bus stop for the city centre it is easily accessible and if you prefer spending your evening in Edinburgh it’s easy to reach.

With me spending the evening at the hotel I enjoyed a great dinner (and trust me although it was just a pizza, it was still a good pizza) and some cocktails (which the barkeepers were happy to improvise for me due to allergies), enjoying some good conversations with people from all over the world. Checking out late the next day I spend another while in the restaurant area eating some quick lunch.

It is save to say that including my good nights rest I found the Moxy at Edinburgh Airport a great and convenient place to stay and would have had no problem staying there for longer, exploring the surrounding areas. A solid 5 out of 5!
