Reasons:

Honestly said I didn’t do the whole route here due to a lack of time and also lack of motivation which mostly came from the fact that nearly all of this walk is out and the same way back again. However, I did to the circular part of it through the town of Wick and for a bit alongside the river before crossing the bridges, combining the walk with the Old Castle walk (review for which will follow).

Those two combined make for a very lovely long stroll and some great scenery to be discovered, though I didn’t follow the river further upstream I have to say that the area looked interesting and tempting and it might have even been worth the same track walking, if time would have been sufficient for me.

I find the route very good for exploring the town of Wick as well as some of its great nature and it is perfect for bird stalking or simply relaxing as well. Solid 4 stars for this one, since it has great potential (the previous mentioned route should definitely combined with this one to make for a lot of discovering along the way)
